What Is Substack — and How W4W Is Using It

You may have heard the word Substack and wondered what it actually is. You’re not alone. Many people assume it’s complicated or “another thing to learn,” but in reality, Substack is simply a way to receive thoughtful writing directly in your email inbox.

Think of Substack as a modern version of a newsletter + blog combined.

When you subscribe to a Substack, you can:

Receive posts by email when they go live
Read them online if you prefer
Save posts to revisit later
Follow along with a series over time

There’s no algorithm, no social media scrolling, and no pressure to engage. You choose how and when you read.
