Shain Art Gallery
Mallory Norman and Jaya Saxena will be participating in an upcoming show at Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, and it’s such a fun one to share.
Mallory’s work is incredibly detailed—she hand-cuts paper and fabric to create layered, textured pieces that you really have to see up close. There’s a softness to them, but also so much intention behind each one. Nothing feels rushed or overly planned… it all comes together in a beautiful, organic way.
Jaya brings a completely different, but equally captivating perspective. Her work often explores emotion, movement, and connection through expressive color and form. There’s an energy to her paintings that draws you in—pieces that feel both personal and expansive at the same time.
It’s exciting to see both of them showing in a gallery like this, surrounded by other talented artists, and to watch them continue to grow and share what they create.
Loyala Art Show
Mallory Norman will also be participating in The Loyola Art Show, another incredible show that brings together artists from across the country.
Her work is one of those things you’re immediately drawn into—you want to step closer, look longer, and really take in all the detail. Using hand-cut paper and fabric, she builds these layered pieces that feel both delicate and strong at the same time.
It’s exciting to see her work showing up in spaces like this. Each show feels like another step forward, and it’s so fun to watch where her work is going.
