December Shows, Makers, Milestones & Ways to Shop Small
December is always one of the busiest — and most joyful — months inside Women for Women. Our members are hosting shows, sharing new work, celebrating big accomplishments, and creating opportunities to shop small all season long. Here’s everything happening across our community this month and where you can find us.

Spotlight
Courtney Buchanan of CB Grey Is On Fire
Our very own Courtney Buchanan is having a major moment.
She was recently named the official scarf designer for the Rex Krewe for Mardi Gras 2026 — a huge honor in New Orleans culture.
She also created custom scarf designs for Kelly Stafford for the LA Rams Women’s Christmas Party, is designing for Rosemary Beach, and completed custom work for the Fore Children’s Legacy Donors.
Courtney is saying yes to big opportunities and turning each one into absolute magic.

Let Your Tree Tell a Story!
Gilded Medallions — Limited Quantities!
Gilded Medallions (formerly ornaments) by Leah Wilkerson of Wilkerson Works are officially available for the season — and if you’re new to them, here’s what makes them special. Each medallion begins as a hand-painted base and is then finished with layers of real gold leaf, giving every piece its own shimmer, texture, and personality. No two are ever the same — think of them as tiny pieces of art that carry meaning.
They’re designed to become part of your family story:
• hang them on your Christmas tree
• display them year-round on a bookshelf or lamp
• use them as a keepsake to mark milestones
• or gift them to someone who loves beautiful, handmade things
Every medallion is created with intention and care, making them collectible pieces that grow more special over time.
Quantities are limited each season, so if one speaks to you, grab it while it’s still available.
A Holiday Reminder: Shop Small & Make a Big Difference
There’s a simple nationwide movement happening:
Shift $40 of your holiday spending to small businesses.
It may feel tiny — but to a small business owner, it means the world.
You get a gift you love.
They get a reason to celebrate.
Let’s make generosity intentional. Let’s shop small. Let’s lift women up.
